Egypt had a bad start to the 2021 AFCON; they will hope to do better in the next game, when they take on Guinea Bissau. Ahead of this game Egypt find themselves in an unfamiliar position, bottom of their group without a point while Guinea Bissau have one point. Guinea Bissau are coming from a 0-0 draw with Sudan, which makes it five games without a win for them. They’ve also failed to score in these five matches and each of their last three matches has produced under 2.5 goals. Guinea Bissau have now played seven AFCON matches and are yet to win a game at the competition. They haven’t even scored a goal in the last five AFCON matches.

Egypt suffered a 1-0 loss to Nigeria and will definitely come into this game with guns blazing. They have no win in the last three matches as it stands, and in the last five games they have just one win and not a clean sheet. An area Egypt will be quite confident in is that they are well experienced and in AFCON matches, they have just two losses and three wins in the last five matches. They’ve failed to score in just two of their last 10 AFCON matches. The Pharaohs however, go to this game without a clean sheet in five matches and they will want to improve on that.
