Grigor Dimitrov is seeded tenth at this year's Wimbledon Championships. The Bulgarian is up against unseeded Juncheng Shang in round two of this grass court Grand Slam. In the last 32, the winner of this match will face either Stan Wawrinka or Gael Monfils, both unseeded.

Dimitrov reached the semi-finals of this tournament ten years ago. He's currently tenth in the live rankings and a place higher in the ATP Race. Last year saw him get to round four at Wimbledon, the first time he'd got past the last 64 since 2017.

Round one went well for Dimitrov with a straight sets victory over unseeded Dusan Lajovic. That was a relief for him as he'd been beaten in round one here three times in the past five tournaments. His only other grass court tournament this year saw him lose in round two at Queen's Club. 

His opponent was ranked outside the top 100 until the latest rankings. He's up to 91st in the latest list after a run to the quarter-finals at Eastbourne last week. The 19-year-old beat qualifier Cristian Garin in straight sets in the first round.

That was his first win in this tournament. His only other appearance was last year when being beaten in the first qualifying win. It was a notable win for the Chinese player as it's taken him to a new career-high of 83rd. A win here could take him as high as 75th but we tip a straight sets win for Dimitrov.
