For the second time this week, Manchester City are home to Brighton and Hove Albion. CIty are top of the Premier League and face the Seagulls who are third in the league table. Both sides scored in Wednesday's Carabao Cup game and our prediction here is BTTS in what should be an entertaining fixture.
The Blues begin this latest set of Premier League fixtures with a three-point lead over Arsenal. They lost their unbeaten league record at Aston Villa last weekend. While they have scored 20 league goals this season, nine have been conceded. Both teams have scored in six of their last seven matches.
Brighton and Hove Albion may be five points behind their opponents, but they've scored more league goals than City and conceded fewer. Of the last nine games they have played against City, eight have seen both teams score, including the midweek Carabao Cup tie won by City on penalties.

Manchester City - Brighton: Form Analysis
Manchester City won their first seven Premier League games of the season. Their 100 percent record ended last weekend when they were beaten 2-1 at Aston VIlla. Midweek saw them host Brighton and Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup. They twice came from behind to draw 2-2 and then won the penalty shootout.
City score lots at home but concede far too many.
City have won all four of their home league games this season, but conceded six goals with five in the past two. Three of their four home league fixtures this season have seen both teams score. In all competitions, the last five have all seen both teams score with 12 goals being scored against them.
Brighton and Hove Albion have been a revelation this season, both in domestic and European football. The Seagulls have scored at least twice in ten matches this season.
They did lose at Liverpool last weekend and that cup tie in midweek. Each of their last five visits to the Etihad has seen both teams get on the scoresheet.

Manchester City & Brighton Squad Analysis
While these two clubs met in midweek, they will field very different line-ups from those that contested their Carabao Cup tie. Manchester City made nine changes for that cup tie and the big guns that were left out of their starting line-up are fully expected to make their return this Saturday.

Pascal Gross has been an influential player for them this season. He' s scored four goals, made the same number of assists and even scored an own goal at Anfield last weekend. 11 different players have scored for Brighton in this season's Premier League.
