Chelsea will look to avoid losing three games in a row as they welcome an under-pressure Manchester United in the first game of matchday nine of the English Premier League (EPL). This match on Saturday at Stamford Bridge in London between the 5th-placed ‘Blues’ and the 16th-placed ‘Red Devils’ could be a gruelling experience for the travelling fans, but will this be the last for Michael Carrick in the United dugout?

Cole Palmer is available after serving the ban against Liverpool. Joao Pedro has been ruled out, along with Emi Martinez, Reece James, and Jamie Gittens.
The Blues are likely to remain true to Alonso’s favoured formation of 3-4-3 with Danny Welbeck likely to lead the line. Morgan Rogers and Palmer are set to be on the wings, while Pedro Neto could line up slightly behind on the right wing.
