Grigor Dimitrov vs Alexander Zverev Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Miami

Fourth seeded Alexander Zverev faces the 11th seed Grigor Dimitrov  the Masters 1000 Miami Open semi-final. The winner will be up against either second seed Jannik Sinner or third seeded (and defending champion) Daniil Medvedev in the final. Alexander Zverev is fifth in the world rankings and third in the Live ATP Race. He can't climb any higher this weekend even if winning the tite. He’s bidding to reach his second final here. His only final so far in this outdoor hard court tournament was in 2018. This is the first time since then he’s made it past the last eight. Like his opponent he’s yet to lose a set in this tournament. The last eight saw him beat unseeded Fabian Marozsan losing eight games. Zverev has an excellent record against his opponent having won seven of their eight previous meetings. 

Dimitrov actually won his first ever match against Zverev in 2014 but has lost the seven that have followed. The last four have seen him fail to win a set against Zverev and he trails him 2-0 in matches played on outdooor hard courts. The Bulgarian caused a big shock in the quarter finals when beating top seed Carlos Alcaraz in staight sets. He only lost six games against the in-form Spaniard. Dimitrov has twice had to come from a set down in this tournament. He lost the first set against unseeded Alejandrop Tabilo in round two and then eighth seed Hubert Hurkacz in the last 16. He's in the semi-finals in Miami for the first time, his previous best being the fourth round in 2012 and 2016. This run has taken him to 11th in the live rankings but a win will see him climb to ninth. He's up to sixth in the Live ATP Race. We tip Zverev to get the win.
