Francisco Cerundolo vs Zachary Svajda Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP French Open

Francisco Cerundolo has been in the shadow of his younger brother this week. He is the 25th seed at Roland Garros and in round three, he faces unseeded Zachary Svajda. Cerundolo has won one ATP Tour clay court title this year, far more than Svajda has achieved and our prediction is he will win in straight sets.

Round four will see the winner take on either tenth seed Flavio Cobolli or 18th-seeded Learner Tien.

Cerundolo won the ATP Tour Buenos Aires title earlier this year. He has also been a semi-finalist in Santiago and made it to the last eight in Munich. 15 of his 22 clay court matches have been won this year. In Paris, he's beaten Botic van de Zandschulp and Hugo Gaston, both in four sets.

He is currently 23rd in the live rankings, 52 places above his opponent.

Zachary Svajda's 75th place is a new career-high for the 23-year-old. The past two years have seen him beaten in the qualifying rounds of this Grand Slam. He automatically qualified this year and has had wins over Alexei Popyrin and Adam Walton, dropping a set in both.

This is the first time he has made it past round two of a clay court tournament in 2026 with only one previous second round appearance.
