Rob Baxter's men failed to continue on winning ways the last time out against Sale Sharks in Salford. They lost both halves, including a staggering 26-0 second-half shutdown, ultimately collapsing to a heavy 34-3 against the Sharks. However, they have won their last three home games and four of their last five home encounters with the Bristol Bears. 

A run of one win and two defeats in the Premiership Cup has left Bristol Bears stuck at the foot of Group A standing on four points. This includes a 49-19 home defeat to defending champions Bath Rugby in their last game.
