After a week’s break, the Six Nations will recommence this weekend, and in our featured fourth-round clash, we will see France travel to Twickenham to take on England, where the winners will stay in contention to claim the title on the final weekend. The reigning champions saw their incredible run of results since last year’s tournament end this time around when they came up against the world number one side, Ireland, in their Round 2 encounter. On either side of that loss, France beat Italy 29-24 in their tournament opener and took Scotland apart in their last match 32-21. Les Bleus are currently tied on ten points with Scotland and England; however, they are fourth on the table owing to a worse points difference. France will need to approach this match as though it is a final, as a loss on this one will see their title defense come to an end.

England got the year off to as poor a start as they could have had, losing to Scotland in the opening match of the tournament 29-23. However, since then, the English have looked much better, dismantling Italy 31-13 before outclassing Wales 20-10 in their last match. Like their opponents, England has managed to accumulate 10 points so far in this tournament with two wins and two bonus points and sits in third place in the current standing, with just a two points difference separating them and Scotland in second. A win for the hosts in this match will set it up perfectly for the final weekend when they face the current tournament leaders and favorites, Ireland, at the Aviva Stadium.
