England bid to make it 11 wins in a row when hosting Argentina on Sunday afternoon. Their opponents won't need reminding that two of England's ten straight wins were against them in the summer. Can the Pumas get revenge? Read our match prediction below.
Last week saw England defeat New Zealand after trailing at the break. That made it ten successive victories since losing in the Six Nations to Ireland. The days of them conceding late points seem to be over and they will be confident of earning a third win over Argentina this year. With the Six Nations on the horizon, England will want to continue their excellent preparation with another victory.
It's not going to be the easiest of tasks though. Argentina have already beaten Wales and Scotland on this tour. Like their opponents on Sunday, Argentina also trailed at the break last week but were in dominant form in the second half against Scotland.

England - Argentina: Form Analysis
It was on the first day of February 2025 when England last tasted defeat. That was in the Six Nations as they lost 27-22 to Ireland in Dublin, despite leading at half-time. England won all their remaining Six Nations matches to finish second in the table.
Two summer wins for England.
The summer saw a weakened line-up tour Argentina. England's best players were on tour with the British & Irish Lions but that didn't stop them beating the Pumas twice on their home territory. A 40-5 win in the USA followed.
The Autumn Internationals have gone well for England. They defeated Australia and Fiji and then last week hosted the All-Blacks. They trailed 12-0 early on and were still behind at the break but fought back brilliantly to win the match 33-19.
Argentina won away against England in 2022 but only by a single point. The two summer defeats means it's now four straight defeats to England with that 2022 win the only one over England since 2009. Their only other away win in London over England was 16 years ago.
The Pumas had lost six of their last nine matches before beginning their UK tour. They have had two wins so far over Wales and last week against Scotland. On their day they can be a very difficult team to beat but they face a tough task on Sunday.

England & Argentina Squad Analysis
Back in England's team for the first time since June will be Elliot Daly. He broke his arm playing for the British & Irish Lions but is back fit again now. He will replace Tom Roebuck who has a foot injury and isn't fit enough to play.
There are six changes from the starting line-up that defeated the All-Blacks last weekend. There'll be a new front-row with Luke Cowan-Dickie and Ellis Genge back in the England team. Asher Opoku-Fordjour makes only his second Test appearance with Ben Spencer at scrum-half.
Dingwall is back in the England team.
England will be without Fraser Dingwall for Sunday's Test Match against Argentina. Dingwall has a side strain and has been replaced by Bath centre Max Ojomah. This will be only his second match for England, the other against the USA in the summer.
He'll be partnering Henry Slade who comes into the team replacing Ollie Lawrence who's also injured.
Santiago Carreras will be on the replacements bench for Argentina. He filled that role with great success against Scotland last week. Argentina will hope bringing him on in the second half will ensure a strong finish but England also have a powerful set of replacements.
England - Argentina Key Points

Our England vs Argentina Prediction
England have made some changes for this match but will still be fielding a very strong line-up. The summer saw them travel to Argentina for two Test Matches and won those games despite having most of their top players on Lions duty.
They have been impressive since then and last weekend defeated the All-Blacks with a fantastic second half-performance. Argentina were also impressive after the break last weekend in Scotland. This is tougher and our main England v Argentina prediction is England wins on a -9.5 handicap.
