Ekaterina Alexandrova starts another quest for a first title of the season when she faces Aliaksandra Sasnovich in Beijing. They face off in the second round, marking a seventh career meeting between them. Alexandrova has bagged five wins in this fixture, and our prediction is for her to win here too.

After taking a month off, Alexandrova returns to action, her last outing having been a loss to Marta Kostyuk at the US Open third round. The Russian has struggled to match her run to the final in Abu Dhabi earlier in the year and has an 8-9 record in the second round.
