Daniil Medvedev vs Sebastian Korda Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Indian Wells

Fourth seed Daniil Medvedev is bidding to reach the outdoor hard court Indian Wells final for the second successive year. He has to get past 29th seeded Sebastian Korda to reach the last 16. For the winner here, their next opponent will be either the 13th seed Grigor Dimitrov or 21st seeded Adrian Mannarino. Medvedev is playing only his third tournament of the year. He's played well in the other two with a run to the final of the Australian Open and the last four in Dubai. The Russian received a bye into the second round of this ATP Masters 1000 tournament. He had few problems getting past Roberto Carballes Baena for the loss of only five games. That made it ten wins out of 12 this year and only Jannik Sinner has earned more ranking points than him this year. Medvedev trails Korda 2-1 in previous meetings with a couple of losses last year but is in better form at present.

Sebastian Korda is 29th in the world but up a place in the live rankings. He beat Roman Safiullin to reach this third round at Indian Wells. Korda didn't drop a set and only lost six games. The American's best performance this year was a semi-final in Adelaide. He got to the last 32 in the Australian Open but didn't beat anyone ranked in the top 100. His indoor hard court season didn't go too well with a last 16 and a first round exit. Better form was shown when getting to the quarter finals in Dubai. This is a tough match though and we tip Medvedev to win in straight sets.
