Seventh seed Naomi Osaka is in her first WTA Tour final since 2022. The Japanese player faces the fifth seed Clara Tauson in the final of the ASB Classic in Auckland. Who will win this outdoor hard court tournament? Here's our match prediction.
It was in 2021 when Osaka last won a WTA Tour event and she is now back in the top 50 in the live list. Osaka is in 49th place and it's been a massive week for her as she hadn't played a tournament since having to retire from a match in September.
The 27-year-old has had wins over qualifier Lina Glushko, unseeded Julia Grabher, Hailey Baptiste (after losing the first set on a tie-break) and in the semi-final, Alycia Parks in straight sets.
