Canada top Group A on points difference from France who they play in this final match. Canada have had two wins so far beatng Greece 81-50 and then defeating South Korea 82-63. That's three wins in a row after a disappointing Commonwealth Games performance where they lost both their games.
France are ranked third in the world and began their World Cup campaign with a convincing 89-58 win over South Korea but it wasn't all plain sailing in their second match against Greece. After three quarters they found themselves trailing by five points. They won the final quarter 21-12 to get a 75-71 win and secure a top two finish in the group. They can be a bit inconsistent in recent times with the last six games producing four wins but defeats to the USA and Slovenia. The last meeting between the two countries was in a friendly last year with France winning by nine points. They will need to play better than against Greece but have the ability to do that and can get the win and qualify for the last eight.
