It's Derby Weekend in PREM Rugby and two West Country teams will battle it out on Saturday. Bristol are sixth in the table with two wins from three league fixtures. They host Exeter Chiefs who are eighth in the table and have lost two of their three league matches. Our prediction here is a win for Bristol Rugby.
Bristol began the weekend only two points behind leaders Gloucester. They got their league season underway with an away win at Sale Sharks. That was followed by an excellent home victory over Northampton Saints. Their unbeaten run in PREM Rugby ended with a 30-7 loss at Saracens. They also lost in Europe last weekend, being beaten away at Stormers.
Four of their last five home games have been won.
Exeter Chiefs have made a slow start to the new season. The Chiefs conceded at least 40 points in both of their first two league fixtures. A home loss to Bath Rugby was then followed by a 40-34 defeat away at Bath. They finally got off the mark with a home victory over Newcastle Red Bulls who have lost all of their league fixtures this season.
The Chiefs were also in action in the European Rugby Champions Cup last weekend, losing away at Stade Toulousain.
