Two of the top five in the Premier League face each other on Wednesday. Fifth-placed Brighton and Hove Albion are home to Aston Villa who are fourth in the table. Can the Seagulls keep their unbeaten home record? Read our match prediction below.

Brighton - Aston Villa: Form Analysis

Aston Villa beat Wolves 1-0 on Sunday to continue their excellent run of form. That followed a midweek Europa League win over Young Boys. Each of their last five games have been won by Villa since an away league defeat at Anfield. 11 of their last 13 games have been won as they recover from a start of just three points from their first five league fixtures. Three of their last four away league games have seen both teams score.

There's a busy December fixture list to contend with and some squad rotation is likely by both Brighton and Aston Villa. The Seagulls do tend to utilise that anyway and this game may see Stefanos Tzimas start ahead of Danny Welbeck after his goal against Forest on Sunday.
