European champions Bordeaux Begles need to bounce back from a heavy loss at Stade Toulousain last weekend. They are eighth in Top 14 and on Sunday are home to Stade Francais Paris who are 11th in the table. Bordeaux had a massive home win in their opening fixture and our prediction is they win this on a -17.5 handicap.

Last season saw the Begles finish eighth in the table, missing out on the play-offs by two points. Losing their last two matches cost them dearly. They did however win the European Rugby Champions Cup for the second successive year, so it wasn't too bad a season.

The new Top 14 season began with a crushing 64-5 home win over Racing 92. It didn't go so well last weekend as they visited Top 14 champions Stade Toulousain and lost 48-12. 

Home form last season saw them win nine of their 13 league games with only Stade Toulousain scoring more points.

Stade Francais Paris ended last season third in Top 14, but they lost in the play-off semi-finals at Montpellier.

Of their 13 away league games last season, they won four, but lost the other nine.

So far this season, they have beaten USA Perpignan at home by two points and then lost at Clermont by nine.
