Australia have won the Rugby World Cup twice in their history. However, none of those wins have come in the 21st century, with the last triumph being in 1999. They are down to sixth in the world rankings but shold have few problems qualifying from Pool D. They take on Wales, Georgia and Uruguay later on but start with this match against Fiji. Since then, Australia have won 14 games in a row against Fiji. Fiji have failed to make it out of their pool in the last two World Cup tournaments. They last made it to the quarter finals in 2007 and are currently ranked ninth in the world. Their target in this pool has to be to finish third and automatically qualify for the 2023 World Cup in France.
