Atletico Madrid have won two games in the league phase but lost the same number. The La Liga side are 17th in the Champions League and on Wednesday they are home to third-placed Inter who have a 100 per cent record. Time for our match prediction.
With six points from four games, Atletico are in the unseeded play-off positions but only a point behind the seeded places. After this game, two of their last three fixtures are on the road so they will want to get something from this home match against Inter.
The visitors lost in last season's Champions League final. This term has started well for them with each of their first four games being won. Atletico Madrid - Inter Milan: Form Analysis
Atletico Madrid have had an up and down Champions League campaign this season. They started with a 3-2 loss at Liverpool, coming from 2-0 down only to concede a 92nd minute winner. A 5-1 home win over Eintracht Frankfurt but then came a 4-0 away loss to Arsenal.
Atletico got back on track with a 3-1 home victory over Union Saint-Gilloise. They are fourth in La Liga, four points behind leaders Barcelona. Their last five league and cup games have been won since that defeat at the Emirates.
Inter aim to make it five out of five.
Inter have won all four of their league phase matches and only conceded one goal. Their first three games produced wins at Ajax and Union Saint-Gilloise with a home victory over Slavia Prague, all with clean sheets.
Kairat became the first team to score against them (an equalizing goal) but were beaten 2-1 in Milan. Inter are fourth in Serie A but were beaten 1-0 at home by Milan on Sunday. That ended a run of four consecutive victories.

Atletico Madrid have selection problems ahead of this Champions League game against Inter. Marcos Llorente has scored three goals for them in the league phase but he's doubtful for this match. Goalkeeper Jan Oblak is also a doubt with Juan Musso on stand-by to replace him.
Musso was between the sticks at the weekend as Atletico beat Getafe 1-0. The La Liga club rested Antoine Griezmann for that game but he may well return on Wednesday. Atletico will hope for more goals from Julian Alvarez as they try to get an important win.
