Atalanta have made a mixed start to the new Serie A season, managing six points from their first four games, including two wins and two losses. 

La Dea kicked off the new campaign with an excellent 4-0 win over Lecce on the road, but suffered back-to-back defeats thereafter, falling 2-1 to Torino and 4-0 to defending champions Inter Milan.

However, there have been a few positive signs since returning from the international break, with the Nerazzurri picking up a 3-2 win over a tricky Fiorentina before holding English Premier League giants Arsenal to a goalless draw in the Champions League in midweek. 

Notably, Atalanta’s first three games this season were all away fixtures. At home, the hosts have only suffered one defeat in their last six league matches dating back to mid-April. 

Meanwhile, newcomers Como have struggled to come to terms with the step up in class of the Serie A so far, having failed to win any of their four top-flight matches to date. 

I Lariani’s two losses so far were against Juventus (3-0) and Undinese (1-0), while their two points came via 1-1 and 2-2 draws with Cagliari and Bologna respectively. 

The visitors have played three away games this season, drawing one and losing two, and were beaten 4-0 and 5-1 by their upcoming opponents in two recent friendlies between the sides.
