Unseeded Sebastian Baez has achieved a lot this year on outdoor hard courts. Now he takes on qualifier Adam Walton in round one of the Miami Open. Can he win his first ever match in this Masters tournament? Read our match prediction below.

Baez has played in this Sunshine Swing tournament for each of the last four years. On each occasion, he's been beaten in straight sets in round one. This year could well see that elusive first win in Miami be achieved.

The 25-year-old only won three of his 12 matches played on this surface last year. This year, Baez has a 10-3 outdoor hard court record and he reached the final in Auckland. He's up to 48th in the live rankings and 20th in the ATP Race.

Adam Walton had to win two qualifying matches to reach this main draw. His second match was against Rinky Hijikata and a third set was needed. Walton has won nine outdoor hard court matches this year but lost the same number.

He recently got to the last four a Challenger Tour event. However, on the ATP Tour he's only reached two second rounds, one as a lucky loser. We tip Baez to give the 26-year-old his sixth first round exit of the year.
