What Is Unibet’s Bet Builder and How Does It Work?

unibet bet builder

Accumulators can often be some of the most exciting types of bets to place due to their potential for a massive payout. Unibet definitely had this in mind when developing their Bet Builder tool, which allows users a streamlined way to create their own custom accumulator bets for a huge selection of football matches. It allows users to combine multiple bets on the same event which is something that isn’t always allowed on other sportsbooks. In this article we’ll take a more in-depth look at the Bet Builder tool, what makes it stand out and an example of a way it can be effectively implemented.

What Makes the Bet Builder Unique

The Bet Builder tool works on the same principles as a typical accumulator bet. The more legs (or individual bets) that are added to the accumulator, the higher the potential payout will be. Accumulators can be as small as simple two-leg bets or can go as high as 20+ legs which would bring with it some truly mouth-watering odds. There are a few key distinctions however that make Unibet’s Bet Builder a unique tool for punters.

The main advantage of using the Bet Builder is that it cuts out all potential legs that would be seen as contradictory or unallowed in a normal accumulator bet. This allows for a much easier and time-efficient experience when crafting your bet as you don’t have to deal with scrolling through a huge list of available bets only to find that the selections you made cannot be combined. This can be especially useful when using the Bet Builder during an in-play football match as it is often in the bettors best interests to get their bet placed as fast as possible to avoid a dramatic shift in the odds should a goal or other significant event take place.

Unibet’s Bet Builder can be used for prematch or in-play football matches but is limited to a maximum of 12 legs per accumulator bet. When you have a match that you want to bet on, simply select the bet builder tab and you’ll be presented with all of the valid legs that can make up your accumulator. The final odds of your selections can be easily viewed in the bet slip and constantly update with every leg that is added or removed.

Bet Builder in Action

Now that we’ve identified what makes the Bet Builder different from a normal accumulator bet, let’s see it in action to get a better idea of which kind of markets Unibet allows users to combine. For our example, we are going to be looking at an in-play MLS match between Minnesota United and LAFC. Minnesota is the home team in this matchup and takes a 1-0 lead into half time after just edging the first 45 minutes of play and creating the slightly better chances of the two sides. We are interested in backing LAFC to make a comeback in this match due to them being one of the strongest sides in the league this season. The visitors are 19-3-8 coming into this match and lead the Western Conference with 60 points. Therefore, the first leg of our Bet Builder will be LAFC X2 at odds of 2.40, meaning they just need to draw or win for the first leg to be a winner.

Next up we’re targeting the total goals market, with over 2.5 goals at odds of 1.81 as the second leg of our Bet Builder accumulator. LAFC has one of the strongest attacking squads in the league with a front three consisting of Gareth Bale, Carlos Vela and Cristian Arango and have been averaging nearly two goals scored per match through 30 matches this season. Lastly, both teams to score at odds of 1.49 will be the third and final leg of our Bet Builder wager. Both teams to score ties in well with the other two bets and is an excellent price considering the bet is already halfway there after the home team took a 1-0 lead.

Altogether, our three-leg Bet Builder accumulator pays out a total of 4.35 odds meaning a €20 bet would net you €67 in profit!
