Barcelona vs Real Madrid: Raphinha anytime goalscorer

Odds: 1.73 at bet365

Raphinha has come flying out of the gates in the 2026-27 La Liga season. He’s leading the scoring charts with 12 goals, three clear of Kylian Mbappe, and has 14 goals across all competitions in just 10 appearances.

He’s in some of the best form of his career at the moment, and the Blaugrana faithful will hope that it continues in the massive El Clasico clash against Real Madrid on Sunday. The underlying numbers suggest that it will continue:

Expected goals1.391st

Raphinha has been eased back from a right thigh injury picked up on international duty with Brazil. He returned for 20 minutes against Real Betis before being withdrawn on the hour in Wednesday’s 4-2 defeat at PSG, a planned substitution with this fixture in mind.

Before the injury, Raphinha had returned at least one goal in seven of his first eight matches of the campaign.

Our experts are predicting a back-and-forth match - see the full analysis in our Barcelona vs Real Madrid prediction!

Real Madrid will present a tough defensive assignment, but Barca’s eye-watering attacking statistics means that the Brazilian is sure to get chances. Raphinha is also Hansi Flick’s first choice penalty taker, with three of his 12 goals in La Liga coming from the spot.

Barcelona 2026-27 La Liga:

  • Big chances created: 59 (1st)
  • Expected goals: 33.6 (1st)
  • Goals per game: 4.33 (1st)
  • Shots on target per game: 8.4 (1st)

Freiburg vs Bayern Munich: Olise over 1.5 shots on target

Odds: 1.80 at betway Bayern's Olise

While Harry Kane is often the one to grab the headlines for Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich, it’s Michael Olise that acts as the creative catalyst for the team. 2026-27 has seen the Frenchman increase his shot volume, and he’s already found the net nine times in 10 appearances across all competitions. No player has hit the target in the Bundesliga more than Olise this season. And the comparison with Kane is also interesting; Kane has taken more shots (29) yet hit the target roughly half as often in the Bundesliga (9).

We’re expecting Olise to wreak more havoc on Sunday as Bayern head to the Black Forest to take on a Freiburg side that’s lost its last two in a row across all competitions and conceded seven goals in its last three. See what our experts think in our Freiburg vs Bayern Munich prediction!

Olise maintains his shot volume when playing away from home as well, firing off 2.77 shots on target per 90, just slightly under his 3.06 figure for the entire season. There’s clearly been a tactical shift this season compared to last, as Olise appears to be trusted with more of the direct attacking load. His shots have climbed from 3.92 per 90 to 5.14, with his shots on target rising from 1.94 to 3.06.

Minutes shouldn’t be a concern here, given that Olise didn’t take part in the midweek Champions League fixture against Arsenal due to suspension. Kompany has left Frenchman on for 90, 87, 90 and 90 in his away domestic starts.

Napoli vs Roma: Malen anytime goalscorer

Odds: 2.20 at bet365

Malen shoots vs Real Madrid

We tipped Malen to get on the scoresheet against Como earlier this month and he was sent off after 52 minutes, so that one never really got tested. We're going back to the well at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Check out our Napoli vs Roma prediction!

Malen continues to produce at an elite level in Serie A, registering six goals in six league fixtures, and nine in nine across all competitions. This is more of the same from the previous season, which saw him bag 14 goals in 18 league fixtures for the Giallorossi after his winter switch from Aston Villa.

Gasperini has built this Roma attack with a clear objective: feed Donyell Malen.

Spearheading the 3-4-2-1 formation, the Dutchman has accounted for a third of the club’s expected goals this season, despite being on the pitch for under two thirds of it. Additionally, he scored twice at this ground last season in February.

Malen 2026-27 in Serie A

  • Goals: 6 (2nd)
  • Goals per 90: 1.36 (3rd)
  • Expected goals: 5.10 (1st)
  • xG per 90: 1.18 (4th)
  • Shots on target per 90: 2.3 (8th)

Napoli away is certainly an obstacle, but their defence hasn’t been overly intimidating this season. They sit seventh in Serie A in expected goals against, and are coming off a 4-3 home win over Bodø/Glimt, which saw them concede 2.67 xGA and five clear-cut chances.
