Lucky loser Zizou Bergs faces wild card Adrian Mannarino in the second round of the Paris Masters. The winner takes on either seventh seed Casper Ruud or unseeded Jordan Thompson in the last 16. Read our match prediction below.
Zizou Bergs was a career-high 65th in the latest rankings and is up 60th in the live list. He wouldn't have been expecting that after being beaten by Juncheng Shang in the final qualifying round of this tournament.
The Belgian was then reinstated as a lucky loser and beat Richard Gasquet in straight sets to reach round two. He's had some good recent form with a quarter-final reached in Antwerp earlier this month.
Now he takes on his second successive player and Adrian Mannarino will be hoping for a better result than Gasquet. He was 17th in the rankings in January but a terrible run of form has seen him slip down to 58th.
The French player had lost four of his last five matches before beating the 11th seed Tommy Paul in round one. He won that match in straight sets and it's certainly his best performance for a fair while.
