Wales face the Barbarians in this rugby friendly clash at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday. The Red Dragons, having won both of their previous meetings between the two sides, are our favourites against a Barbarians side enduring a rough patch in recent months. This is why our prediction goes in favour of Wales.
The last time the Barbarians won a match was against Fiji in June 2024. Since then, each of their last three outings has ended in heavy defeats. The most recent of which was an 80–31 defeat to South Africa last week.
Overall, Baa-Baas have lost six of their last seven matches. Another difficult match awaits the Robbie Deans-led side on Saturday against a Wales side that will be eager to secure their first back-to-back wins since 2023.
Wales haven't also impressed of late. However, they defeated Italy 31–17 to round off their disappointing Six Nations Championship on a strong note. That result saw Steve Tandy’s side end their six-match losing run. They have swept both of their previous matches against the Barbarians and will look to build on that for another positive result.
