Sixth seed Valentin Vacherot has reached the last eight on his debut in the Abierto Mexicano Telcel. He takes on unseeded Brandon Nakashima for a place in the last four of this outdoor hard court tournament.
Either eighth seed Frances Tiafoe or unseeded Mattia Bellucci will be faced in the Acapulco semi-finals.
