Ugo Humbert vs Gijs Brouwer Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Libema Open

Third seed Ugo Humbert faces qualifier Gijs Brouwer in the Libema Open quarter-finals. This is in the top half of this grass court tournament being played in Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. The only other seed left in this half of the draw is top seeded Alex de Minaur. Ugo Humbert is the world number 16 but he was a career-high 13th in April. He won two hard court titles earlier this year but didn't have the best of times on clay in recent weeks. He got to the last eight in Monte Carlo but then lost five of his next six matches. Humbert has had some success on grass and reached the fourth round at Wimbledon in 2019 and the third two years ago. One ATP Tour grass court tournament has been won, that being the Halle Open in 2021. He got to the last 16 here last year and also the semi-finals of the Hall of Fame tournament in the USA. His first match in this tournament saw him beat fellow Frenchman Arthur Fils in straight sets.

Gijs Brouwer was ranked 232nd in the latest ranking list. After reaching this quarter-final, he's up to 189th but that's still a long way below his career-high of 114th attained last year. Brouwer had to play two qualifying matches to get into the main draw of this tournament. Both matches went to a final set but he made it into the first round. That saw him again have to go to three sets as he beat Jakub Mensik. Round two saw him beat the out-of-form fifth seed Adrian Mannarino in straight sets  Humbert is in better form and we tip him to win this in straight sets.
