Before this year, unseeded Ugo Humbert had never made it past round one in Rotterdam. 2026 sees him take on qualifier Christopher O'Connell for a place in the last four of the indoor hard court ABN AMRO Open. Time for our match prediction.

Ugo Humbert has already made it to one final this year. That saw the Frenchman lose to Tomas Machac in the Adelaide International  

Fourth seed Daniil Medvedev was beaten in three sets in round one here by the 27-year-old. He followed that up with a straight sets victory over Guy den Ouden. Humbert and O'Connell are level at 1-1 in previous meetings, both played on clay.

Christopher O'Connell is playing in his first ATP Tour quarter-final on this surface since October 2024. The Australian is playing his sixth tournament of the year but this is the first time he's got past the first round.

After five successive defeats, the 31-year-old has won four matches in Rotterdam. After winning two qaulifiers, he has recorded wins over Hugo Gaston (in three sets) and Cameron Norrie. We tip Humbert to win this match in straight sets.
