Both of these clubs go into the second week of the new Premier League season still looking for their first win. Tottenham are ninth in the table but Everton are bottom of the table after a disastrous 3-0 home loss to Brighon and Hove Albion last weekend.
Tottenham didn't play until Monday and the Lilywhites were held to a 1-1 draw at Leicester City but wasted plenty of chances. Spurs had 15 goal attempts but still only came away from the King Power Stadium with a point after conceding a second half equalizer.
They will want to continue their impressive home form and get their first win firmly under their belts. As for Everton, they continue to be a club in trouble. Again, they are making a slow start to the season and their ownership situation is still to be resolved.
Another heavy loss would certainly increase the tension at Everton in their final season at Goodison Park. The thought of starting life in their new stadium as a Championship side is just a total nightmare. Here's our match prediction.

Tottenham - Everton: Form Analysis
Tottenham will want to continue their good form against Everton. They are unbeaten in their last seven games against the Toffees with the last loss to them being a thrilling 5-4 away loss in 2021 in that season's FA Cup.
Not since 2020 have Spurs been beaten at home by Everton and that's the only time Everton have come away with a win since 2008. Last season saw Tottenham win 2-1 at home against Everton and draw 2-2 at Goodison Park.
Tottenham have won nine of their last 12 home league fixtures
Their last three home games against Everton have all ended in victory with nine goals scored and just one conceded. Dominic Solanke makes his home debut for Tottenham, who have won nine of their last 12 home league fixtures.
Two of the last three have been lost but they were against Arsenal and Manchester City. 14 of their last 15 home league games have seen both teams score and all bar the 2-0 loss to Manchester City have seen over 2.5 goals scored.
Everton are already struggling for form and in fear of losing more players in the final days of the summer transfer window. Not many of their fans were left by the time the final whistle blew in their 3-0 home loss to Brighton and Hove Albion last Saturday.
Away form is a major worry for Everton
Last season saw them go to the sixth Premier League game of the season before winning a match. Away form is a major worry for them with 11 games being played since a win. That run began with a defeat at Tottenham.

Our Tottenham vs Everton Prediction
Tottenham play their first home Premier League game of the season and will be expecting three points. They created lots of chances against Leicester on Monday but still only drew 1-1. Better finishing this weekend should produce three points.
Everton lost their opening league game 3-0 at home and had a poor away record in the Premier League last season. Their record against Tottenham isn't anything to write home about either. Our main Tottenham v Everton prediction is Tottenham to lead at both half and full time.
