Sunday sees the final day of the 2026 Laver Cup. Team Europe are 7-5 up on Team World after the first two days and just need a couple more wins from the four remaining matches to regain the trophy. With Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz in singles action, our prediction is that Team Europe will win the Laver Cup.
The score in this indoor hard court event in London was 3-1 to Europe after the first day when wins earned their team a single point. Two were at stake in Saturday's matches and Team World took a 5-3 lead after wins for Learner Tien and Alex de Minaur (the latter beating Zverev).
Team Europe reasserted their authority with two wins in the evening and are now just six points away from winning the Laver Cup. There are four matches on Sunday and each win earns their team three points. After the opening doubles, there'll be three singles matches.
Alexander Zverev takes on Learner Tien and that will be followed by Carlos Alcaraz (unbeaten so far in this Laver Cup) taking on Alex de Minaur. He's won all six of his previous matches against the Australian. The final match will see Rafael Jodar up against Taylor Fritz.

With home advantage, Team Europe will be confident of regaining the Laver Cup. After a good opening day, they lost and then regained the lead on Saturday. That has left them just six points away from the13 that'll see them win the Laver Cup.
The opening doubles could go either way. Then it's the big guns for Europe with Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz. They could well win the cup for Europe.
