This is the only all Top 14 match in the last 16 of the European Rugby Champions Cup. Stade Toulousain are the top seeds and host 16th seeded Racing 92. Waiting in the last eight for the winners is a home tie against either Exeter Chiefs or Bath. Stade Toulousain qualified as top seeds for the knockout stages by topping Pool B. They won all four of their matches with wins against Cardiff, Harlequins (already in the last eight), Ulster and Bath. 178 points were scored in those four victories with over 40 scored in two of them.
