In their last match of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will look to get past Gujarat Titans (GT) and sign off on a high. This match on Friday between the second-placed RCB and the sixth-placed GT comes with our prediction of a home win.
With eight points (W4, L2), RCB are three points behind leaders Punjab, while two more teams are on the same total. Gujarat have six points (W3, L3) and are right behind their hosts.
RCB are coming off a six-wicket loss to Delhi at this venue last Saturday. Their total of 175 was powered by Philip Salt (63), and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3 for 26) started well with the ball, but they couldn’t stop the chase.
Virat Kohli (247) is fourth in the list of run scorers this season, while Bhuvneshwar (ten) is fifth among the bowlers.
Gujarat are coming off a 99-run hammering at the hands of the Mumbai Indians last Monday, ending their three-game winning sequence. Kagiso Rabada (3 for 33) was the star with the ball, while no batsman could score more than Washington Sundar’s 26.
Shubman Gill (265) remains third in the ‘Orange Cap’ race, while Prasidh Krishna (12 wickets) is third in the ‘Purple Cap’ race.
