Reims have a new manager but their fortunes haven't changed a bit ahead of their home game against Angers in Ligue 1. Angers will arrive for this game placed 13th, a place above Reims with a point separating them. Here’s our preview and prediction of the match.

Reims got a momentary reprieve by advancing in the French Cup. Their win in the cup game was labored and they were exposed by Lyon on resumption to Ligue 1 duties.

Samba Diawara's first game in charge ended in a 4-0 defeat. They are now winless in their last 10 Ligue 1 matches and lost five of them. It isn’t any better at home, having gone without a win in seven matches.

Though Angers are coming from a 2-0 loss at Marseille, they will be confident, having had a better run than Reims. In their last nine matches across all competitions, they posted six wins.
