Toulon only finished two points behind Bath Rugby in their pool. They won three of their four matches with the only loss being suffered at Edinburgh in their opening game. They beat pool winners Bath 45-34 at home and are seeded seventh in the knockout stages, three ahead of their opponents.
The winners of this tie will travel to either second seeds Glasgow Warriors or 15th-seeded Bulls.
The home side are 11th in Top 14 and have gone five league games without a win. At home, they have won eight of their ten matches in Top 14 and will hope to rediscover that kind of form this weekend.
Stormers could only finish third in Pool 3. They won three of their four matches and missed out on the top two by a point. Their only loss was a 61-10 defeat at Harlequins, though a weakened line-up was fielded.
They are second in the United Rugby Championship.
