Third seed Grigor Dimitrov faces unseeded Quentin Halys in round two of the Stockholm Open. The winner goes into the quarter-finals of this indoor hard court tournament. Here's our match prediction.
Dimitrov is the world number ten but up a place in the live list. The Bulgarian is tenth in the ATP Live Race and still has a lot of work to do if he wants to qualify for the end-of-season Tour Finals.
He last reached a quarter-final in this year's US Open. That saw him lose to Frances Tiafoe after retiring in the fourth set. Since then, he's reached the last 16 of the Shanghai Masters, being beaten in three sets by Jakub Mensik.
This is his first match against Halys. The winner will take on unseeded Dominic Stricker in the last eight.
Quentin Halys was ranked 95th in the latest ranking list. He's up to 89th after winning his first round match against Sumit Nagal. He had few problems beating the out-of-form Indian and only dropped four games, all in the second set.
The Frenchman reached the final of two hard court Challenger Tour events in September. He's played in one ATP Tour final this year but that was on clay. If he can beat Dimitrov, it'll be the first time he's won two successive hard court matches in an ATP Tour event this year.
