Gaikwad is now just one run behind Virat Kohli for the orange cap, while Mustafizur Rahman is ninth in the leading wicket-taker standings. With the race for the final two playoff places being very tight, CSK cannot afford many slip-ups, and a victory here will put them in a very strong position to make the knockouts.
