Wales welcome New Zealand to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff for the first of the Autumn Internationals. The visitors come into this match on the back of a huge 104-14 win over the United States albeit a much weakened USA team. Wales last played in July and were beaten by Argentina 33-11. New Zealand is on a record winning streak of 31 games against Wales. Wales last tasted victory against New Zealand in 1953 when they won three of the first four matches between the countries. New Zealand have been beaten just once in their last 16 matches and enter this match with a near full strength squad to choose from. Wales have not had played much since their Six Nations triumph with a victory over Canada and a draw and a loss against Argentina.

The home team has been beset by injuries to key players and the unavailability of some players as this match falls outside the official international test window and this will make their task all the more difficult. This match will see the Six Nation champions test their depth in reserves with more than 20 players unavailable.
