The Orlando Magic will play host to the Los Angeles Clippers at the Kia Center in the NBA on Thursday night. The Magic (8-7) are 10th in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Clippers (4-10) are 11th in the West. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

The Orlando Magic are starting to find their feet after a slow start to the season and picked up their seventh win in 10 on Tuesday when they outplayed the Warriors 121-113 at home. 

With Paolo Banchero out for the last three games through injury, Desmond Bane has stepped up impressively and put up 23 points against GSW, while Anthony Black added 21.

However, there is still room for improvement on the defensive end for the Magic, as they are outside the top 10 in defensive rating after ranking in the top 3 in the last two seasons. 

Meanwhile, concerns are growing for the Los Angeles Clippers, as they have now lost eight of their last nine games following a 110-108 defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. 

With Bradley Beal now out for the season and Kawhi Leonard struggling to play consistently, Tyronn Lue faces a huge task, especially given how many veterans he has on his roster. 

James Harden continues to lead the Clippers, but they are a bottom-10 team on offence and defence, and are currently playing at the second-slowest pace in the NBA.
