Northampton Saints vs Harlequins FC Prediction & Betting Tips - English Premiership Rugby

Northampton Saints will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they take on Harlequins in the Gallagher Premiership on Friday. The hosts are in sixth place, while the visitors are one spot above them. The Saints have had a mixed campaign to date. They have managed 16 points in their first six games, leaving them five points behind the top two in the standings. The hosts suffered their third defeat of the campaign last week, losing 26-17 against derby rivals Leicester. However, that did follow three consecutive victories over Newcastle, Bath and Exeter and included back-to-back home wins. The Saints have beaten this opponent in the last two meetings, including a 46-17 thrashing at the start of the year. Northampton are the favourites to win this one as well. 

Meanwhile, the Harlequins also saw the momentum they were building up halted last week. They were beaten by defending champions Saracens 38-10, ending a four-match winning streak. During that time, they secured victories over Exeter, Bristol, Newcastle and Leicester. However, with most squads now returned to their full complement following the World Cup, it will be interesting to see if Harlequins can continue their good run of form. The visitors won their last two away matches - notably, though, both those victories were by fewer than five points. Quins have not won at this venue since 2020, but based on their opponent’s recent form, the visitors cannot be written off in this one just yet.
