New Zealand plays host to Ireland at the Sky Stadium for this the third and deciding match of their test series. Not many fans expected the All Blacks will need a victory in this match to secure the series win but the Irish win in the second test has made this the deciding match. The home team lost the last match and much of the blame could be down to the fact that they played most of the match with 14 players after Angus Ta'avao was sent off. They will be looking for an immediate response from the team as the defeat was the first time in their history that they lost a home match to Ireland. The most worrying fact for the home team is that they have now lost four of the last seven matches against Ireland. Prior to this they were unbeaten against the Irish in matches dating back over a century.

Ireland will be full of confidence coming into this match after they beat the All Blacks for the first time in New Zealand. They will need to continue their aggressive style of play especially in defense as the home team had no answer to this. The visitors will again be led my talismatic captain Johnny Sexton and he proved even at the age of 37 he is still the best flyhalf in the world. Ireland knows that New Zealand will be attacking them from the onset and if they can withstand the initial onslaught then they will be in pole position to win this match. They have won two of their last four away tests but in both those wins the opposition had a player sent off early in the match.
