New Zealand and India finish their five-match T20I series at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Sunday. The series is already won by the visitors 3-1, and this result has no bearing on the overall result. This match between the ‘Black Caps’ and the ‘Men in Blue’ is likely to throw a surprise with the hosts backed to win.
The ‘Black Caps’ won the last match in Auckland by 87 runs. India won the first two games by four wickets each in Christchurch and the third game by six wickets in Wellington.
Glenn Phillips (276 runs) remains the best batsman for the hosts, with his century leading their side in the fourth match. Three other New Zealand batsmen have aggregated at least 132, and they will hope to continue that aggressive run. Among the bowlers, captain Mitchell Santner (nine wickets, ER 6.73) is the best bowler for the hosts, while Jacob Duffy (five wickets) excelled in the last game with 4 for 23.
India have just one player who scored more than 105 runs – Abhishek Sharma with 196 runs (SR 227.90) – and are still unsettled with their playing XI. As they continue to struggle to fit Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the team, their bowlers have been equally guilty. Only one bowler (Arshdeep Singh – five wickets, ER 9.31) has conceded fewer than 10 runs per over in the series.

Our New Zealand vs India Prediction
New Zealand rode on Glenn Phillips’ performance to post their first win of the T20 series. India’s batting failed for the first time, but will that continue to be the case here? This is a venue that the Kiwis have enjoyed playing – across formats – and that may help them edge this contest.
New Zealand have been up and down with their performances, and although India have edged them in key contests, this match could be a chance for the Kiwis to end on a high. Our New Zealand vs India prediction is New Zealand wins.
