The Netherlands and Namibia will face off in Match 10 at the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup on Tuesday. The Flying Dutchmen are third in Group A, while this is the Eagles' first match of the tournament. Let’s get into the match prediction.
The Netherlands kicked off their T20 World Cup campaign on Saturday, but suffered a three-wicket defeat to Pakistan at the SSC Cricket Ground in Sri Lanka.
Scott Edwards top-scored for the Flying Dutchmen with 37 runs, while Bas de Leede added 30. Paul van Meerkeren and Aryan Dutt took two wickets apiece, but the Shaheens chased down the 147 target with three balls to spare.
The Dutch have now lost their last four T20 matches, but have beaten their upcoming opponent in their last three encounters across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Namibia will be playing their first match in this year’s T20 World Cup. This will be their fourth appearance in the competition, but they’ve only got beyond the group stage once (2021).
The Eagles qualified for the tournament through the Africa Regional Final qualifiers by beating Tanzania. Gerhard Erasmus and JJ Smit were the standout performers during their qualifying campaign.
Namibia defeated Scotland by six runs in their warm-up match last week and have now won eight of their last 10 games in all competitions.
