Molde vs Qarabag FK Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Third placed Molde host Qarabag who are second in Europa League Group G. The home side are only behind their opponents on head-to-head results with them. That's because the reverse fixture saw them beaten 1-0 in their opening group game back in September. The good news for both sides is that they are already guaranteed a place in the Europa Conference League Knockout play-off round. Hacken are bottom of the group and that's where they will stay. The target for Molde and Qarabag is to finish in the top two and progress in the Europa League. Finishing top is unlikely as Bayer Leverkusen are six points ahead of both sides with two games remaining. Molde are fifth in the Norwegian Eliteserien and won't be playing in Europe next season. All their points in this group have come from two wins over Hacken. Molde have won their last three games but home form has been a struggle. Three of their last five on home soil have been lost. After this game they end the group with a trip to Bayer Leverkusen so a win over Qarabag is imperative for them.

Qarabag are top of the Azerbaijan Premier League, a point ahead of Zira and have won their last three league fixtures. In the Europa League, the Horsemen have won twice and been beaten a couple of times. Aside from the home win over Molde, they also won at Hacken (who they host in their final group game) but lost twice to Bayer Leverkusen. The Blue and Whites won their last away game at Sabah but that ended a run of three without a win on the road with nine goals conceded. Each of their last four away fixtures have seen both teams get on the scoresheet. We believe that statistic will come up again in this important Europa League game.
