Milan had a promising first half of the season but one win in the last five league games and just 12 points from the last ten matches has seen them drop to seventh in the table. That's left them four points adrift of the Europa League places. Home form has suffered lately with two defeats in the last two games by Sampdoria and Napoli. Fiorentina are a place below Milan but only a point behind so just five points short of getting into Europe. Last week saw beat Udinese 3-0 at home but their last away game saw them lose 4-0 away to second placed Roma. That's their only league defeat in the last seven league games and on Thursday they had a good 1-0 away win at Monchengladbach in the Europa League. Fiorentina have won two of their last three away league games and can come away from Milan with at least a point.
