Ja Morant has been in the headlines once again, and not for a good reason. The star point guard reportedly lashed out at coaches after the Grizzlies’ loss to the Lakers in the NBA Cup, resulting in the team suspending him for the team’s 117-104 loss to the Raptors on Sunday.
Morant is expected to suit up for this game though, and it’s now on the Grizzlies to respond in a positive fashion. They’re on a tough run though, having lost their last two in a row and dropped three of their last four overall.
The Pistons proved last season that they are one of the top young teams to watch in the NBA. After finishing 44-38 last year, many are expecting them to take the jump this year.
