Both of the previous meetings between Marta Kostyuk and Linda Nosková have been decided in two sets. The two players lock horns in the 2026 US Open fourth round at Louis Armstrong Stadium today. With most of their recent matches decided in straight sets, our prediction supports this contest not to go beyond two sets. 

Marta Kostyuk eased past Storm Hunter 6–4, 6–1 in the first round and saw off Sloane Stephens by a seven-game margin in another straight-set victory in the second round. Her impressive run at the event continued in the third round against 19th-ranked Ekaterina Alexandrova on Friday, when she won 6–3, 6–2 to maintain a perfect record across all six sets.

Five of the Ukrainian No. 2's last six matches have not gone beyond two sets. She faced Linda Nosková twice this year, at the Madrid Open and Wimbledon, and both meetings ended in straight sets. 

Linda Nosková began her 2026 US Open campaign with back-to-back straight-set victories over Katie Volynets and Lanlana Tararudee in the first and second rounds, respectively.

She defeated World No. 28 Ann Li 6–2, 6–7(6–8), 6–2 to advance to the fourth round. Nine of her last 11 matches have been decided in two sets, including six of her last seven appearances on hard courts.
