It's 41 years ago since Southampton famously beat Manchester United at Wembley to win the FA Cup. Could history repeat itself and another shock result see them win the EFL Cup. It's their only chance of qualifying for the Europa League for a third successive season and they are yet to concede a goal in this competition this season. That includes wins over Arsenal and Liverpool (home and away). League form is a bit of a worry and they are 11th in the table 10 points above the drop zone. They did win their last league game 4-0 away at woeful Sunderland but lost three league and FA Cup games in a row conceding ten goals in the process. Manchester United have already won at Wembley twice in the last year winning the FA Cup and Community Shield. They have a great chance of winning this and holding all three of those trophies at the same time. United won 1-0 at St Etienne in midweek and have won five of their last six matches. They beat Southampton 2-0 at Old Trafford earlier in the season and look a good bet to win this in 90 minutes.
