The Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings will face off in match 34 of the 2024 Indian Premier League on Friday afternoon. The hosts are in fifth place in the league standings, while the visitors are third. Dube is now the leading run-scorer for the team with 242 in six innings and is ranked ninth in the race for the orange cap. With the ball, Mustafizur Rahman is currently ranked third in the leading wicket-taker standings with ten in 20 overs, while Matheesha Pathirana is ninth with eight wickets to his name. The Super Kings have won two and lost one of their three away games this season but are carrying better form into this contest and will want to maintain pressure on the league-leading Royals heading into the second half of the group stage.
