Liverpool have stuttered a little bit in recent weeks and simply have to get a win in this EFL Cup semi-final second leg to reach Wembley. They lost the first leg away at Southampton 1-0 and since then also lost 3-2 at home to Swansea City, their first home loss of the season. Aside from that defeat they have been impressive at Anfield all season and will be hoping for another of those legendary cup nights. Southampton will be without Van Dijk for this game and that's a massive blow for them. They haven't been in great form recently and the win over Leicester at the weekend ended a run of four straight league defeats. Away form is a bit of a worry with just one win in their last nine league and FA Cup games. Liverpool have only failed to score in two home games this season (one of them being the reserve side put out against Plymouth). A Liverpool home win looks the most likely result here but will it be enough to get them to the final?
