The die is cast at the WTA Beijing Open; the final will be contested by Amanda Anisimova and Linda Noskova. The title match will also mark the third meeting between these two, and we have a prediction below.

Both players entered their respective semi-finals as the underdogs. Noskova, the 26th seed, went head-to-head with the world number seven, Jessica Pegula, in the semis and did the job in three sets.

She downed Pegula to reach her second final of the season and hopes to better her performance in Prague. She heads to the final having compiled a 34-22 record and is 28th in the live rank.

While Noskova is going for her first title of the season, Anisimova will be gunning for her second. This season Anisimova has suffered considerable pain in title matches.

This will mark her fifth final in 2025, and from the earlier four, she managed just one win, in Doha. Having twice gone close to being a Grand Slam champion, she will hope beating Cori Gauff in the Beijing semis is a good enough rehearsal.

Anisimova was clinical in that win, dropping just three games as she saw off the Beijing defending champion. With a record of 44-16 in the season, Anisimova goes into the final sitting fourth in the live rank.
