Leinster are the favorites to win this season's European Rugby Champions Cup. They host Leicester in the last 16 with the winners away to Stormers or defending champions La Rochelle.  The home side have won this trophy four times in the past but not since 2018. They have come close to a record-equalling fifth title losing in the last two finals. Both losses were to La Rochelle and by a combined margin of just four points. They'd love a chance for revenge in the next round but have already beaten them in this season's pool stages. Leinster are the second seeds in the knockout rounds and won Pool D to reach this stage. All four of their matches were won and that included winning 27-10 at Leicester. They currently top the United Rugby Championship and have won each of their last four matches. Eight of their last nine played on home soil have been won.

Leicester Tigers are the 15th seeds and came fourth in Pool D. The English Premiership side won two matches at home to Stormers and Stade Francais but were beaten by La Rochelle and Leinster. Leicester are currently only seventh in the English Premiership with eight wins and six defeats. Their most recent match was won but that was only by six points at Newcastle Falcons who have lost all of their league games this season. On the road, the Tigers have lost two of their last three away matches. We go for Leinster to win this and defy a -17.5 point handicap.
